If you have received the Lord Jesus Christ you truly have something worth living for (and dying for). Following are some important steps you'll need to take to allow God to begin working powerfully in your life. These things will allow God to help, heal and empower you as you grow in spiritual maturity.
Read, Meditate On and Apply God's Word To Yourself

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

Heb 4:12
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
James 1:22
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Luke 11:28
He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
Spend Time Praying!
John 15:7
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
1Thes 5:16-18
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
